bansko's great, went last year and had an exallent time boarding. the towns old style so no big night clubs only 2 small ones. still a good time though as food is very cheap and you soon find some cool places to have a good drink.
the slopes are good with lots of challenging reds, only one black run though, off the slopes is also meant to be good but couldn't give it a go as not enough snow.
the 8Km ski back to town is a very relaxing way to finish the day.
get a hotel near the gondola ...

get a hotel near the gondola as then you don't have to worry about getting a hotel bus.
The night life is good! there are really nice local restaurants in the old town that are cheap and very tasty. There are a few bars and clubs stayin open late. Just on outskirts of bansko is Basecamp this was my favourite last year all the local go hear and its a brilliant atmosphere!!!
Its developed alot since last year lots more hotels and most roads have been maintained, (they needed it)
Im looking to go back Feb, and now i no my way around i'm really looking forward to it
Hi steph...
If your considering staying for a while check the visa requirements, i`m sure Crazy Lady will put you right on that. There are now a number of owner forums on-line where you might get a long term let with a UK owner, also there is accomadation that can be found locally and possibly at a better price.
If you put your request up as a new topic i`m sure you will get some help....
