bansko...this weekend

i am planning on making a trip to bansko this weekend. i have no intentions to ski, since ski season doesn't start for another two weeks. would it be worthwhile to make a trip to bansko from sofia for two days?

Transfer is around 2.5 hours from Sofia to Bansko. Depends on what you want to do I guess.

or did you mean a trip to Sofia from Bansko seeing as though you will be there anyway ?? Most likely flying to Sofia so you would be there as well !!!

The gondola is open and you can take a trip up the mountain for 8 leva. I went there last saturday with my board and walked up a blue run before riding back down to the gondola station. It was beautiful to be up there, but a little icy. The piste bashers were out, but sadly is seemed to be thawing.

We need it to get cold again... fast!
