anyone travelled tobansko with neilsons? just wondering how they compare to balkan as we have only ever travelled with them. also how does it work travelling with skis and boots - brochures say approx. £15 a pair, but are boots counted in that or do they have to be hand luggage?

Went with Neilsons last year and met their reps this year when I was out. Carl and Helen are a right good laugh.

Would recommend the wine tasting evening.

Airlines only charge for skis. Boots can go in the hold or as hand luggage. I have a bag which takes boots as well as clothing so I just check it in as normal.

thanks val. do boots count towards the baggage allowance though because i just scraped in under 20kgs without boots this year - travel light i don't!! ( we are getting our own kit together four next season as have previously rented in resort)
