Arrived Bansko on Sunday. New skiers - good resort and hotel but queuing for gondala is excessive and will only get worse as the new developments are completed. Also with the number of people on the slopes there are queues on the other lifts. Nonetheless still really enjoying it. Richard - the weather in Bulgaria is really hot - actually getting sun burnt - but snow is disappearing fast for next week - tough luck buster!

Second Gondola is due to be started shortly (Slightly up from current one - and planning permission for new pistes has been given.)
Medium to long term plan for Bansko and surrounding areas is to develop more of the mountain and link with the village of Dobrinishte (where development is now beginning).
Oh - and I am not a developer or god forbid, an agent! Just someone who likes to find out about these things and someone who loves Bansko.
