were of to bansko at the end of feb weve had three great weeks over the last four years in borovets but decided we needed a change have we made the right decision as regards to the skiing compared to boro

As long as you miss the the Half Term rush (sounds like you will) I think you will be pleased.

Bansko is different in a couple of ways, firstly the ski area is accessed from just one gondola so is one area whereas borovets is of course 2. The town is a permanent working town and in my opinion is nicer, it is more family freindly with less of the adult themed bars and more nice restraunts. Just about all the lifts are fast 4-6 seaters and you can get around the mountain very quickly, i am sure you will like it.
