just had a thought are there bears up in the hills? as i dont fancy meeting one down a dark alley

I believe Brigitte Bardot is the right person to ask that question... Seriously - the number of wild bears is > 0 but small. Most of them live in special areas outside resorts. But they sleep now!

thankyou so i can sleep soundly at night then ive just been looking at the holidays via balkan it was for 1 wk5585 bit expensive that but i ticked all the boxes for the passes and that can you tall me what sort of family passes would you recomend we are beginners who want to have a laugh and more than most see some snow that you dont see in the middle of the uk anymore o 2 are children 7&10

if your complete beginers go for the learn to ski pack includes ski nad boot hire, lift passes and instruction usually realy good value

last for the whole week, we met a great bunch and had a fantastic time on the learn to ski realy good laugh, are thimking of half term week as i have heard it can get very busy that week Question

i believe you have to be careful of the bulgarian brown bears around bansko, they like to snowboard but have no money. given half a chance they'll try to nick your stuff. if you meet one who already has a board however, they're perfectly friendly Cool
