Just returned form Pamps-Is it me- or does the local bulgarian brew taste like cat piss?

There are mone than 50brands of Bulgarian beer.I doubt you tried them all.
My favourites are Kamenitza and Shumensko.

My wife and tried Kamenitza on tap- but we never tried it in bottles but on tap it was not the nicest.We resorted to bottled german beer in the end.Beks mainly

Even the Germans don't drink Becks. It is full of chemicals.

You should try a decent German Beer like Krombacher or Warsteiner all brewed in accordance with the Reinheitsgebot which is a purity law that states only pure ingrediants are allowed during the brewing of the beer. This eliminates the headaches and gets you singing very quickly.

Proper German beer is the best thing ever to come out of Germany.

So my friends another lesson,
Becks is even brewed in law of the german reinheitsgebot. But for me it is to bitter. Best taste Lenny my friend but where you find Shumensko in the winter???

So I like czech and smooth german beer, as we brewed it in berlin or some fine dark or bock beer.
And I have to say bulgarian beer is okay, if not fine.
