its really not that difficult to start off, although im sure it would be more difficult for someone who is out of shape
it gets harder when you are trying to learn more experienced techniques, such as parallel turns and then carving. im sure you'll hear about these when you are out there, its best if i dont explain skiing in depth to you now
The hardest thing is to relax and smile. if you can do that then you'll have fun and last longer.
Tip for putting on your ski boots.
Before you go skiing, put your boots on but only do the top clips up..Walk around for 10-20 minutes and let your feet spread in the boots, then do the bottom clips up. This will prevent you from getting pins and niddles in your feet.
Just remember and commando roll when you fall. It will impress the other folk and your instructor. Nothing better than over dramatising the fall. Mind and finish off with a hail of imaginery bullets. Everyone will be in stitches and you might have a chance of winning the champ belt at the end of the week....Folk mind these things.
