Got back from a week learning to ski on Sunday. Very disappointing that there was not more snow but the instructors did thier best to get us started as complete beginners. Found it very hard to stop on the ice or grass, (well actually very easy to stop on the grass - mainly with my face in the mud instead of a graceful halt) but if there was more snow this would be an excellent resort to learn to ski - and I would go back.

Stayed in Hotel Evridika - it was fine - rooms a little small and pool a little cool, but clean and close to town. The only down side was the sometimes miserable reception staff who were not always helpful, but the bar staff more than made up for that.
Hi so u still got ski school with very little snow? im there in 3 weeks and the kids will be devestated if theres no ski school for them! do they take you higher to learn if there is no snow at the bottom?
We were there last week and our instructor (Ianko) took our group to the top on the third day after making sure the group could all start/stop etc. There isn't really much they can do with you as the runs are sadly shite right now! But they are all good for a laugh though so even if the skiing is limited, you'll still have a good time.
