borovets is brilliant.
go to mamasitas, francos, katys steak house. ski at the top of the gondola cos the snow is better and the slopes are not any more difficult then the ones down the bottom. stay at the samokov clean but not luxourious. thanks to this website for all the info and ask me any questions i will try to answer them!!

hi nik glad you had a good time, going to samokov with the family 6 march just wondered wot food like there as for the fussy eaters---kids, wot time do the lifts open does it make it a hassle because the one person lift is closed dont know where it is as not been b4, any info welcome bud cheers.noodles

i personally thought the food was rank but other members of my group enjoyed it. i suggest try it on your second night it will give you a good idea of what is ahead! the restaurants are dead cheap anyway about 10 lev will get you agood steak. the lifts open at nine the four man chair lift runs are good as are the gondola runs at the top of the mountain hope this helps!!Question Nik!
Good man Nik, great to hear positive stuff from Borovets.Big group of us headin over in 2 weeks .Can you tell us are there ATM machines over there...or is cash etc the norm.....if so are there safety deposit boxes etc in the hotels? Any tips etc would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance, Shauny.
