best rates -currency!

Hi, we are heading out from uk on tuesday and are not sure what money totake. if i remember rightly last year it wasbetter to take britsh notes to get best deals. can anyone advise me and what are the current rates in the booths? any other tips would be grateful. is there snow on the pavements etc?thank you

Donna, loads of snow on pavements me thinks, and every where else!!Dont know best exchange rates as not been yet this year.
I did always take english money but now just get cash from cash machines, always get good exchange rate and dont have to worry about carry cash around.

I got 2.26 in bansko on Monday, English and changed it at the bank next to royal bansko towers near the gondola, the ques have all died down and the runs are all open and the snow is amazing, we leave tomorrow but have had a great tie in bansko as usual, best snow in ford of coming here, the snow on all runs is great, the tomba is now skiable 
there is a light covering of snow on the aments and roads today as its snowed and is skippy under foot for sure.. Sad to be leaving but looking fwd ...
