I bought a day ticket yesterday at the gondola.i gave the girl 100 leva for the ticket and she gave me 5 leva change, itvshould of been 37 leva change. I went back and challanged her and she knew exactly what she had done. I was there at 8.30 so was one of the first customers, so it would have been difficult to deny it. So please check your change whilst you are still at the front of the queue.
Why did you only notice you had 5lv after walking away??? If there had been lots there it would have been difficult to prove though i do think that they have cameras on the desk watching the girls etc..... thats what i was told. They would not do it on purpose there job is too important surely. 10lv a day for 10hr shift!!
I did not notice as I did not want to hold the queue up.i was guilty of not checking, and I only posted here as I have heard of other things going on at the ticket offices, but will not repeat them as I have not witnessed
To be frank they have what 5,000-20,000 people on the mountain every day one individual gets short changed doesn't notice then comes back later stating they were short changed give me some money back/expect then to reconcile the tills at the drop of a hat .... Sorry chap as ever buyer beware.
here is an expectation of a certain level of customer service and care and yes I do agree with a previous comment re the wages for BG workers which wouldn't get many English clambering to do their jobs.
My personal experience of the average Bg Worker is to be honest and offer a good service if you are not getting that... change the resort but dont put all Bulgarians into the same bracket.
But if your a till operator and you have seen thousands of customers most wearing headgear of whatever then hours later one comes stating that they gave you 100lev and only got 5 lev back she owes him say 50lev.
Now she/he till operator might think this customer is pulling a fast one and why wait hours before coming back instead of straight away
Secondly even if it did happen as an error they would have to reconcile the tills to confirm that the tills are out by xlev
Thirdly was it ...

Thirdly was it really 100lev that was given he may have thought it was but instead a different note and overspent elsewhere
End of the day the poster cannot prove to them that he was overcharged its his word against theirs - it could be that the till person did take it and then its a case of formally raising it with the company and the company carry out an investigation into said till operative leading to disciplinary etc etc.
Thankfully its what £15 problem so not the end of the world in any of the above situations.
