blades?

off to borovets and staying at the rila on 3rd march does anybody know if you can hire blades rather than skis ?or even inter change them with skis

yes you can hire blades. a lot from my group have hired blades for the past 2 years. not sure how much they cost though.

You can hire blades yeah, i did from the Rila depot on my last day (Friday 2nd) for 20 levs...cheap as chips! We had a good day on them too although it was quite hard ploughing through the fresh snow!! Very Happy

Blades are basically short skis, that make it easier to get your parallels in etc...
