Just been looking at prices for a short break or even week in france (doing some research for our chalets) and was i slightly taken aback , the lift pass alone is £150 and equipment and lessons etc still makes BG look very very cheap. Easyjet only comes out about £50 cheaper than a BA flight to Sofia, so when thinking that BG is getting dearer THINK AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's why I stayed home this year between X-mas and New Year..
the lift for 1 day is now 34,50 euro in Austria, Ramsau (Reiteralm)
Last year was 32,50 euro..
and then I have to rent the ski + stocks... katsjing!!! you'll see the euro's fly!
im not a skier from 9 till 16 if you know what I mean
I know Fraser but skiing in general is still an expensive past time especially when there are 4 of you coming from one and a hlaf pay packets if you know what I mean!!
We would love to come again but it isn't an annual option for us especially as we have to go in half term!! I blame the tour operators as the flights and the Bulagrian Hotels were originally all priced the same for the season. It's when they hop on the band wagon that prices sore!!
Hope all is going well for your ...
