board and ski quality

i ski and snowboard and am going to pamporovo first week of feb and i would like some info on equip. quality sounds like the snow shack has good boards but my wife only skis is the rental equýp. modern and i might like to strap on two boards myself for a day or two but can i find some modern parabolic style skis also any info on hotel clos to the runs i am thinkin panorama any coments

Ski equipment is very old not modern carver skis and old boots. They prob have decent stuff in snowshack check wih Pamp Pete.re: board and ski quality

This ski and board quality thing is quite concerning, I am going to Borovets in March, I have my own boots but are all skis of the old style?re: board and ski quality
Most of the ski hire equiptment has been re-newed this year, and all is of excellent quality.The staff at the Malina hire shop have bags of patients and will ensure her skis are the right ones for her, that her boots are comfortable, and above all she enjoys herself. Thats what keeps people coming back year in year out.
Any discomfort at all simply let them know and they will change them.
The Snowshack will cater in the same way for your every snowboarding need.

Last 2 years rent my ski,s in borovets, both years got carve ski,s. 1 tip wax them the first day you got them. its about 10 lev.gr barry

Pete does this mean they now have the nice carver ski's at the Malina depot? and nice boots?

To the best of my knowledge yes. Steve told me a couple of weeks ago that they had been ordered and were due in any time, but yet to have that confirmed.I will ring Steve now and check.

We've justed booked for last week in February. First time for me in Bulgaria and first time for the gf skiing.
We have paid for boot and ski/ board hire through our travel agent which is Crystal Travel. does any one know which ski hire shop they use and whats are chances of getting some decent kit?
If what we get is crap how much is it to hire decent stuff?
