whats the quality of snow board and boots from the hire shops in boro and what would you expect to pay if you were to buy your own board,bindings and boots as im thinking of buying when im out there?

depends where you hire from, if you hire through the holiday company then it varys
buying your own stuff it hink someone spent about £500- when converted- on board boots and bindings bag etc but the costs will vary depending

Try edge2edge.com if you want to rent good quality boards get a top end burton for about 80 quid for the week. Smile

We went to Borovets in March, we prepaid for the hire of our boards, boots and bindings through our tour operator.They were from the main hire shop located at the gondola and weren't up to much kop, most of us changed our boards 2-3 times due to broken bindings and chipped/cracked boards but it was the end of the season and they may have bought new ones since then. I ended up buying from a shop just outside the gondola station, they had a great choice and being the end of the season ...

I bought a board, boots and bindings for £180 in their sale, the same kit would have set me back £450 at home. Well worth a look. Wink
