book about skiing

Not going skiing until 22 feb so to keep me interested my daughter bought me a book titled " another long day on the piste " by will randall , about a chap who spends a season in a skiing resort in france ,really enjoyed it.
Anyone know of any other books about skiing etc. ?

The good ski guide magazine can be a read on the flight if nothimg else, available at most good newsagents!

I must be a bit sad because my wife also bought me a book "where to ski and snowboard 2007 " all 760 pages of it ,i am like a kid with a new toy looking at all the new places to ski !
