re: boots

Thanks Sam, silly question but here it is, if we where allowed 5kgs on the plane with us and they wont let us take our boots on does that mean we get that extra if we have to put them in the hold Question

re: boots

You can't take them into the cabin - we asked at the check in desk and were told they had to be checked into the hold. Your cabin allowance is separate to that

Mind you, it might be different for different airlines - that was with Balkan - who are you travelling with?

re: boots

due to some of the restrictions still in place as to what you can and cant take on aircraft, its not as strict as it was but liquids are still a problem. I dont know but normally as above your hold luggage is seperate what we normally do is put all toileties in our hand lug to give that weight in hold but dont think you can do that now. best check with the airline

re: boots

On some planes ski boots don't fit in overhead lockers.
