stayed in the eidelweis in 2005, with thomson aswel, so you will be told when you get there wether you are staying in the Bor or Eidelweis. The rooms are basic but warm and the beds are comfy, maid service everyday, i think! The rooms are basic but warm and the beds are comfy, maid service everyday, i think! The food, was ok, not a great selection as its quite small, breakfast is the same everyday, kind of like a european fry up! The bar in the hotel was cheap but if you want to sit and play games the lighting is abit dark. The only thing that put us off was the walk to the slopes, as it is quite long and tiring when you are carrying skis! This is the only thing that made us stay at the samokov last year and again next week. Although there are horse and carts outside the hotel which will take you up. Also what i thought was nice is ice fountains which are just up from the hotel, you will see them whereas alot of people staying in the hotels near the slopes don't even no they are there!
Enjoy your holiday, make the most of it, only you can decide how much fun you have!
