rila has best ski hire and shouldn`t be a problem.go early to your rep on sunday morning to collect ski hire tickets and lift passes then go straight to ski hire in basement of rila.first come first served basis.if you are al beginers and are all adults you should be able to go together, but if you have children they go to a seperate group. dont worry though the kids tend to like this!we have just got back and the snow was perfect and the instructor very good, but dont be affraid to change ...

Depends which holiday company you are with as to which Ski Depot you use. Half term this year seems to be more spread out again and the tour companies are not now all going on a Saturday which will hopefully aid first morning congestion.

Last seasons Feb half term was pretty dire the first morning with long queues to collect equipment. Only one half term week though! Try to sort your party out early. Lessons every other day start around 10.00 and finish betweeen 4.00 and 4.30 ...

Last seasons Feb half term was pretty dire the first morning with long queues to collect equipment. Only one half term week though! Try to sort your party out early. Lessons every other day start around 10.00 and finish betweeen 4.00 and 4.30 depending on your instructor. Times are flexible depending on your group.

The ski school is very flexible. Kids do not have to go into a kids only group but are encouraged to. I skied in a family group last year with the children and 2 other families. My husband went into a more advanced group but joined us on the Wednesday and Friday. If you are all the same level you should have the opportunity of staying together. Maximum group size is 12 and during half term expect every group to be full!!

Hope this helps

Since when has Rila ski hire been in the basement? Last time I used them, couple of years ago, it was in a large building just outside the front entrance and the snowboarding gear was dire!

There is a ski hire place in the basement behind the supermarket and next to the kindergarten. They also have 2 depots outside on the slope.

At the end of the day everything is owned by Borosport including the Rila, gondola, lifts..................!!
