howdy just came back from borovets really liked it therewas thinkin of going again there next yr with an even larger group but was thinkin of maybe goin to bansko for a change
whats ones best?
i know bansko has better lifts and more modern lift pass that u dont have to get out everytime like in boro
but the resort and bars etc look quite spread out
whats pros and conds of them both?

never been to boro but found bansko great. answer to your other question snow should be good from mid Jan to mid March. we went march last year and the snow was fantastic in fact there was too much somedays.re: boro or bansko whats best?

I've been to both. The nightlife is different in Bansko. It is good and sociable and the main street (think it's Pirin Street) is fairly compact.
To be blunt if it's strip bars you're after stick with Borovets but for all other requirements Bansko wins hands down. I loved Borovets but I'm so glad I tried Bansko.
If you want a hotel close to the nightlife the Strazhite is a good bet. If you'd prefer a better hotel but a bit further out of town try the hotel Perun. And if you can afford ...
