Party of 10 including 2 beginners 2nd time in Boro

Stayed at Ice Angels, which was excellent. The location was superb. The rooms were a good size and kept really clean. We had a Twin room; our Daughters had a triple room, which was huge. We had a slope facing room; ask when booking for a slope view. They have got the plumbing slightly wrong our toilet flushed with hot water and the taps were connected wrong, but what the hell. Breakfast was ok nothing special. We only ate in the restaurant once, never again. It took 2 hours for us all to get served. My daughter only ordered a pizza and 2 hours later it arrived and wasn’t very good at that. All the food arrived in bits and pieces and none was good. I would recommend the hotel and would certainly stay there again, just don’t eat in the hotel.

The chocolate brandy in the hotel was the best ever, and believes I have tested lots.

I had Stefan from ice angels ski shop for 2 one hour-long private lessons and he was very good. I can now ski down a green run. It gave me that extra confidance.

Our ski instructor was from the Samakov ski school called George; he wore an Aston Villa hat. He was very good. He was patient and a good laugh. His English was excellent.

The conditions were not brilliant at the beginning of week but improved at the end. They do need to improve the maintenance of the slopes. Some of the slopes were very icy. A few instructors also need to improve their attitude they spread there group all the way across the runs so that no one can get through.

Had some excellent meals Red Lion, White Horse, Katy’s and Hirma. Bistro Deva did excellent meatballs.

I booked accommodation ski hire, school and transfers through Bulgaria ski.com. They were excellent, everything was sorted. The rep was also very good. I dealt with Sirma at Bulgaria ski and would recommend them to anyone.

Defiantly will go again
