borovets - March & outfit info

hi,
i'm going to borovets in march. As it is the first time we're going to ski, i have some questions.
What are the best places in borovets to go to in the evening?
Is it recommendable to have good sunglasses? Or are the usual summersunglasses enough?
Is it worth to buy some outfit overthere, or is the ski-outfit cheeper in belgium?
thanks for helping me
bye
(anyone else going to the samokov on 12 march?)

White magic opposite samakov. Have sking sunglasses but i recomend goggles for safety. Buy in borovets a lot cheaper maybe copies (fake) but good ones 1/4 the price. we are going out in borovets on the 12 of march hotel Rila we are from Croydon/London.
hope this helps
regards Emz.

most ski gear is very cheap in Borovets compared to the Uk but don't know about Belgium. My friend bought a Northface ski jacket for £40 that would have cost £120 here. It's not that it is fake just made locally. You might want to read the posting about Orion and Atomic skis posted in the last couple of days. The only drawback to buying there is that you might waste valuable slope time and maybe returning something might be a pain.
