2 of us girlies off to borovets on 14th Jan for the 1st time, anyone going that week as everyone seems to be going later in the season, a bit worried we may be going too early?
We went during that week last year and the snow cover was good. We arrived on the Sunday and there had been a good fall of 15 - 20 cm, clear skis for three days after that meant by Wednesday there were a few patches of ice coming through on the lower slopes but another good fall on the Wednesday solved that problem.

Howdy, there are 13 of us going from Manchester on the 14th, staying at the Samokov.
A few of us went a little later in Jan this year and it was great, nice and busy, as mentioned above there was a bit of ice, but it's not a major problem, just close your eyes and think of the bars at the bottom of the slope :-)
