Hi, have just booked a late deal to borvets but now beginning to panic that there might not be any snow, as it is so late in the season....does anyone know what it like around that time.
Also are all facilities etc still open. we are flying from Gatwick and staying at the Rila which seems quite nice on the internet.
Any news about that time of year would be great, also anyone else going that same week would be good to hear from you
Thanks
Hi mate,
Me and my wife are going on the 21st to the 24th.
The snow at the moment is really good. I think there is a chance of some more snow soon, so it would need a real disaster for it all to dissapear.
As far as I know everything will be operational!
last year around this time the only good snow was at the top of the gondola and the lower slopers were struggling for snow
HOWEVER this year has had much better snowfalls in total, and with only 2 weeks to go, it is going to take a major heatwave for all the snow to melt, and the forecast is for temperatures to be around 0 degrees C or below for the next week at least, so all should be fine.
Im going on the 19,th of march.. the weather for the next 15 days is staying cold. with plenty of snow calling to metcheck weather forcast. And don,t worry about the night life it will be MAD last year the resort was pack,t the snow was rubbish but good at the top. this year the snow is fab fab so lets party on
well i just got back from Borovets(26th feb-5 mar) and i never seen so much snow, the top slopes at gondola are excellat and even the bottom ones in my view as a beginner were fantastic though could do with a bit more just to cover a few ice patches, roads in boro were clearing as we left on sat but not on the slopes, enjoy
