re: borovets Dec 06

think the 6th of December is a little early to guarentee snow - the season officially begins about a week before Christmas and then they cannot guarentee snow, think I would hold off booking for the 6th till the week before if you can just to be sure you get the snow..... it will be very quiet that week as no tour operators seem to run anything until later in the month

re: borovets Dec 06

gill think he means December 2006 not 6th of December? don,t think the ski instructors start working until the week before christmas either, I know when i was in pamps last year christmas week, that was the first week our instructor had worked that season

Hello Ollie

As well as my trip a couple of weeks ago, I skiied borovets during the second week of the season (NYE week). The snow was good, although due to the fact that there had not been many falls the lower slopes were I found getting quickly scraped away. But there was good skiing to be had nonetheless. Jan/Feb are always the safer bets, but if you like to ski twice a season (like I do) then the early/late combo is a good one to do. Unless you have very understanding employers of ...
