borovets cashpoints

i have heard there are atm machines in borovets.
could someone please help with any info.

would i have to pay to withdraw money?
where are these machines?
do i need to inform my bank first or will any credit card just work?

Any card will work and there are cashpoints in the Flora, Ela, Rila hotels. There is also one inside bottom station of the gondola and one opposite the flora (ie on other side of the road.)

The charges depend on your bank, but someone has posted on this - doa search on here and you should find the info.

ohhh! great easy enough then.

i think i have seen that on here before will have a look now.
i dont mind paying a small amount but would rather stay away from the £20 fees

I use the cashpoint close to the Flora hotel. You can't miss it, just look for the row of taxis opposite and up a bit from the Gondola.
Your bank will charge you a couple of £ per transation (just try to take what you need in 1 go) but you will notice that the xchange rate that your bank gives you will be much better than cash exchange etc.

I used the one by the reception area at the Rila hotel last week with no problems
The rate was 2.33 ,outside it was 2.21 back home it was 2.03

I think remember it was 7,50€ per transation, so I want to used it. But sure you have no banks in Boro or is the post bank in Ela Hotel or the agricol between road to Yastrebez near Peters Bar, so my place...

ye i got 2.09 home here sounds like a better idea to just change money out there
