just had a great week in Borovets with good snow and lots of fun! Met some great people and found some great bars - if you are going make sure you visit Julia Steak House just off the main street near the Rila where Franco and George will make you most welcome.. The Black Tiger do great burgers and pizza and the Happy Duck is ideal for a beer or two - as long as you can stand the local band! The slopes at the top of the Gondala, (near Hotel Samokov) are much better for people to practice on and learn to ski as they avoid the crowds on the nursery slopes. Have fun
