just to defend swifty, if there are lots of collisions then there obviously is a problem ... I'm recently back from Kitzbuhel, and though the piste/lift layout is initially a little confusing, there is very little run interaction - I didn't see one collision in the 7 days I was there.
skiing/boarding are dangerous sports at the best of times, so anything that can be done to improve safety should be considered.
I've highlighted this section of piste because it has nothing to do with courtesy.no section of piste should be crossed by another at this angle ,it's like having a country lane entering straight on to the m62 without a slip road.Pistes should be connected but at an angle where any boarders/skiers can see other people joining and have enough time to decide how to avoid running into them anyone who thinks otherwise dosen't have a clue.As for the walk I didn't see ANY boarders make the whole ...

when your learning to board learning to go down on your toes and heels are essential this does not cause big build ups off snow as it is slow.Carving at speed causes the lumps which both skiers and boarders do. The argument about boarders and skiers should not exist. Stop being petty wankers
I can handle a bit of walking but it takes the pee there. check out Borovets map anyone with any sense can see the danger of a beginner slope cutting up an expert slope at a 90 degree angle.
