just got back from 2nd trip to borovets and really enjoyed it again, maybe thinking of bansko next year, dont think there are as many slopes whats it like, also with borovets when snow is bad your a bit limited, with bansko being lower down and less runs how does it cope when snow aint to good, also what are prices like similar to boro???
Was wandering the same thing as you wanted to try bansko after 2 great years at Boro - saw some girl in a purple jacket and pants wipe out on the top of the bottom of the blue run in Boro and want to make sure she doesn't crash into me on the slopes next year in Bansko or Boro
Hi, Went to Bansko, after 3 yrs at Boro, and thought it was brilliant. There are more runs in Bansko - it used to be 60k in Bansko and 40k in Boro, but with the new runs this may be more at Boro. The equipment was much better and the pistes seemed to be better prepared, food and drink was much cheaper. Not as many clubs though as Bansko is a working town and not a purpose built resort.
The only downside is the queue first thing in the morning to get to the Gondola- it usually was about 15 ...
