borovets?

hi
Just wondering if anyone couldhelpme with a few questions?
We are thinkign of comign to borovets this feb 21st
I am a new boarder and my GF is a competent skier.
Just wanted to know if borovets is a good place for both of us to be?
as in is the snow good and the runs varied enough for us both to enjoy or week there??
Also are the ski and board schools good there?

Hi Shaun went last year My 13 year old was had boarding lessons for 3 days then went on his own, whilst me and my daughter had ski lessons, we could see each other on the runs and met up at lunch time my son joined my group for dinner, after lessons were finished met up again and skied and boarded together. I found the runs really good (as a beginner) not sure about experienced but seemed to be plenty of people there who were experienced, going again in 2 weeks. Hope this helps

Hi Shaun,

I'm sure Borovets will be ideal for you both, especially if you have lessons so you get to know the best runs.

I'm an intermediate skier and there's more than enough to keep all the skiers i've met busy!

As for boarding the one problem there's always been is the pom lifts to the very top slopes. i seem to remember them being difficult for boarders, but now the new 4 man chair lift is in place i cant see that being a problem any more.

Borovets is okay for snow, it's Pamporovo that;s been a bit lacking. Think there's more snow forecast for this weekend/next week but believe conditions are okay anyway.
