Hi im here in the Samakov now. Have ski 3 valleys many times, italy and austria but love bulgaria! something new and a bit different, Followed Judiths reports, thanks! Snow is not so good now but the slopes are fantastic! Lots of ice now and very difficult to ski so come earlier in the season. Im here with hubby and 2 kids 8 and 4, plenty to do, private ski tuition is very cheap so its a good opportunity to get your kids skiiing at a fraction of the cost, Thanks to Kate who recomended ...

Im here with hubby and 2 kids 8 and 4, plenty to do, private ski tuition is very cheap so its a good opportunity to get your kids skiiing at a fraction of the cost, Thanks to Kate who recomended Laura and Christo at the White Magic Bar, both Bulgarian ski champions, very friendly and good teachers! resort is like a nice friendly village, was a bit concerned about the "seedy side" but have not seen or heard too much!!!!! Beer cheap, wine lovely!Food is not as bad as I expected , even fussy husband has managed to find something..Eating out is so cheap that it doesnt matter anyway!
i would definately come again, thanks to everone who has posted info on borovets its been very useful so dont stop!(we are reading it even if we dont reply!) Dont hesitate if you are a little concerned but come with an open mind!

Well put, pleased you are enjoying yourselves, I allways get sad when I return and only by booking up again can i look forward forward to more fun that Bulgaria offers!re: borovets
Glad you are having such a good time.It seems so long ago, but it was only a few days since I was there.
If you're going for a massage at the Samokov, book for Milka - she's the best. Bobby is also very good, but Milka is a physio by day and does the massages to supplement her income so you get a fantastic massage. That's what kept me going through the week.
