just booked for my son and i to go to borovets. first timers .any advice or tips.son 16, me a lot oldergoing during feb half term.re: borovets?
Which hotel have you booked - if it's the Iglika, Samokov or Rila, you are in the centre of the resort and you will be right at the hub of things.There are some great restaurants in Boro - The Blue comes highly recommended.
Make sure you've booked your ski pack before you go - it costs double once you get to resort.

The Ela is central too! Opposite the Samokov and with a good bar from what I understand on here! The Ela is just up the road from the Gondola and you usually get your boots, skis etc from that station.Hope this helps - remember half term will be very busy so plenty of chances for you both to make friends.

Great Place, Just make sure you go for your evening meal as soon as the reasurant opens to get hot foodre: borovets?
if the cocktail bar has the same waitresses as last year you wont get your son anywhere near the restaurant 
The hotel is ok, its well situated, not too noisey, family run. Just watch out for the steps out front, along with everyone in the resort theyre not great at 'salting' the pathways. Youll be ok there have a good timere: borovets?

stayed sometimes in the Ela, the Bar crew is find, if you was in Sunny Beach you know them they run there the Pool Bar at Glarus Hotel.
The Ela is a nice and not to big Hotel, different kinds of rooms in every of the four stairs.
I prefer the small snackbar Elit on the road to the gondola on the right side for a small brake hot home made rakia or a snack ...
Have agreat time and take a trink for me too at the bar.
