hey all just got back on sunday after a really good week. i did manage to break my elbow on the first night but it was still great.
we went with neilson and stayed at the samakov which i would highly reccomed apart from the food. a large beer in the hotel was 4 lev and a small 2 lev which to us is very cheap.
please if anyone is going be careful if you are walkin from the rila to the gondola and vice versa as it is a death trap at night it is just a sheet of ice and as you can ...

we had pavol as our boarding instructor and he was rubbish. i only had 1 lesson but everyone else i was with said it got worse. he tried to teach us to board with only 1 foot in which to me does not make sense and he has no patience for anyone.
good places to go are katys steak house , mamacitas and the happy duck which is a fantastic night with live singers!
if anyone has any questions just give me a shout and i will be happy to help.

When I learnt how to board last year, we started of with one foot in the bindings and the other not and this has done me no harm I managed just fine, infact I was tought that both in the UK and Bulgaria. Nice I am wizzing down the slopesre: borro 5th-12th just back

I got back on Sunday as well, also had snowboarding lessons as was my first time from the lovely Eka - we also started with one foot in - the principle behind it being it trains you to put your weight on the front foot, and I think it's a common technique for begginers.. I was coming down the red and black runs by day 3 and 4 more than happilly.Big up Eka if anyone see's her on the slopes.
