I suppose that he can still go up to the slopes and walk around and throw snow balls etc.

Alan, he must be so upset - poor boy ! How old is he ? I have one that's not into skiing ! We too fly out (hopefully !) on Saturday - fingers crossed everyone - we're flying from Heathrow !!!!!!!!!! Hope we get there for christmas ! See you all there.

re: broken

And he'll have trouble playing on a PSP or Nintendo as well - poor lad. Collar bones are painful until they start to set as they can't be immobilised

Do you have a portable DVD player? Some local shops (and I think Blockbuster do as well) are selling pre-viewed dvds at 3 for £20. Might be worth getting a few to keep him entertained - you could claim back on his insurance too, at least for the ski/snowboard pack he won't be using.

Good luck to you all, have a great trip

re: broken

The boy has my sympathy (I'm hoping my broken bone will be fixed enough for some ski activity by the time I go).

dvd players of the portable variety are a very good idea, if you don't have one they have the cutest little ones in aldi for £50 - bargain!

Hope you all the fabbest of times anyway. Smile
