bulgarian election.

is anyone concerned about the lack of formation of a new goverment for bulgaria.

i have recently invested in bansko and am concerned about the possible delay to EU accession that could be caused by all this!!

re: bulgarian election.

Thing is too many people like yourself have jumped on the property wagon because they are sure that Bulgaria will join the EU. This is not gauranteed and even if they do property guru's are already talking of the bubble bursting.

re: bulgarian election.

accesion Confused is guaranteed for Bulgaria, (and romania) its set in stone now, the only question is will it be on time ie 2007 or will it be delayed by a year, the Bulgarians still have a lot of work to do to come 'on line' for the eu

I agree with Daniel, it is NOT set in stone, so caveat emptor.

There is a serious risk that following the recent failure of referenda re the EU Constitution, the Commissars in charge might start to listen to the peasants, who are not thrilled with the idea of the continued expansion of Europe.

re: bulgarian election.

sorry you are wrong, the eu have stated in no uncertain terms that all future integration may be subject to change but that the current round, bulgaria and romania will go ahead as its already been passed in chamber. The query though is when, 2007 is starting to look a little forlorn, especially if BG doesnt get its govt sorted out. If you want more info try the embassy site or novinite.com, or the eu website if you can be bothered to trawl through all the rest of the c**p

re: bulgarian election.

The question is whether you are worried about your enjoyment of owning a property in a ski resort (which most people could only dream of elsewhere) or the effect it might have on your quick buck. Some of us on the band wagon actually like Bulgaria and Bulgarians.

quite right were in this for the long term, not much sense otherwise, plus it allows me various reasons to go skiing more often as im sure 'problems' will arise that need sorting out Razz Razz Razz

Boro has to be one of the best places that I have skiied. Not the best snow, not the best restaurants but as a package and at a price it's pretty good. Plus as you get to know people it makes it more like going home everytime. Plus some of the more advanced skiing is left untouched because the learners won't go on it. Plus decent off piste a short walk from the top of Markudjic and the run under the Gondola which the wife and I did last season which was just mad. Can't really see any ...

Can't really see any Government doing anything to stop inward investment. So that means more, not less, people like me and Fraser.

If you have invested in Bansko you will probably make money even if Bulgaria dosent join the European Union because the infrastructure is being improved and Bansko is gaining in popularity.
