Hi all,I'm currently in Bansko on a ski trip, and I want to visit some friends in Sofia before we go home - has anyone any advice on public transportation Bansko-Sofia (direct as possible)?

Go to the bus station, there are lots of buses every day.The buses go to either Ovcha Kupel or Central bus station.The bus statio is at the bottom of bansko town. not far from luk oil petrol station

I have just returned from Bansko to Sofia. Used the bus of company called Sonia. Brand new, last model Mercedes. The cost is 14lv one way. You can reserve at the bus station, or wait for a bus (usually there are about 3 buses every hour) and ask the driver for a place. I think that several companies operate that route, but all the buses are new and comfortable. They usually leave you on the Central Bus Station in Sofia, but I was able to get off at Ruski Pametnik in downtown Sofia, which is ...
