bus to Pamps

Hi Guys,

Anyone used public transport from Sofia to Pamps, please?

Is the bus directly outside airport or do you need to transfer to city to catch it?

Anyone had any experiences/advice, please? We're heading out next Tuesday.

Many thanks

re: bus to Pamps

You need to get a taxi to the bus station.

From there it is a direct bus route that takes you through Pamps. There are several stops on the way.

The cost, one way, I think is 18lv.

I will be doing the same journey on the 20th ! Have fun Very Happy

Hi ya,

Many thanks... I've just found the station on the web, and they are quoting a massive price rise to 19 lev Wink

Thanks for your answer. Have you done the journey before? Sounds like a bit of a trek and I'm waiting to hear back from a Pamporovo-based person who does pick-ups, so if you're interested I'll let you know the cost... probably 200 Euro or more, so bus does sound like a good option if the journey is not too onerous.

re: bus to Pamps

First time doing the trip on my own.

It takes about 4 hours by bus - but the weather can effect the trip !!! By car, the quickest I have done the trip is 2 3/4 hours without stops, but that was in the summer.

1 lv inflation - might have to rethink my travel plans Very Happy Very Happy

re: bus to Pamps

I done the bus trip its easy and painless takes roughly 4 hours as the driver usually stops for a refreshment. Just watch the taxi from airport to the bus station should be 10lev maximum i got ripped off 1st time I done the journey.
