re: buying new boots

Having purchased a pair of boots 'off the shelf' some years ago and having just replaced them with a pair of proper fitted boots, my advice would be try them on 1st with a proper boot fitter as your foot may just not be right for the boots basic shape and now amount of playing around will make them comfortable.

re: buying new boots

Carey Ive just been to Snow and Rock to buy some new boots, I liked the boots your talking about but when i tried them on they didnt suit my feet at all, ended up buying Nordica Arrow F3 fitted like a glove, these have the 3 buckle system and like you i watched the website and was convinced this is the way forward. Good luck with whatever you buy and have a good one.

re: buying new boots

You should be ok with them, unfortunately for me, my local snow and rock in Hemel Hempstead didn't have anything to fit my dodgy feet. I ended up having to travel to Milton Keynes and Ellis Brigham to find a pair to fit. There wasn't a pair of Salomons in either shop that would fit me
