re: buying skis boro

My advice alex if you are looking to spend that amount then go to a specialist ski shop and seek advice as to what would be best for you.

Last year I visited Marco (former head of ski school in Pamporovo) who not works a Filarinskis near Portsmouth (link below) and he recommended I buy the Atomic Smoke Ti skis. He fitted me out and I tried them for the fisrt time in Livingo last year. Absolutely brilliant skis and they made me twice the skier I was before.

You would need to do some very hard skiing to warrant a £500 pair. I batter skis on all runs and have been looking at about £350 - £400 max for a pair after that your going into specialized stuff in my opinion.
Atomic Smokes are very good but there are loads out there. Go to a ski shop you can trust and ask them. Where abouts are you people may be able to guide you to one.

I have been looking at these Salomon 2011 24 GT Pro Skis Z10 Bindings they are currently £262 at

http://www.tallingtonlakesproshop.com/

I am probably going tommorow to have a look as they are the cheapest place I can currently find.

re: buying skis boro

Bought mine in Borovets from the shop near the white magic. Have bought my first and second set of skis there and always had good advice and good service.First set were Salomon and the second set were Rossignol Vipers both of which are still going strong and have skiid some pretty testing stuff in canada with them. Paid £120 for the first set 10 years ago and £220 for the second set 2 years ago.
