buying snowboard boots, borovets

going to borovets saturday, ive got everything apart from snowboarding boots (pretty important i know) do the shops there sell boarding gear? if yes, what are prices like compared to over here? how much will i have to pay?

Buy over there it is v cheap and the shops are open until late!

I saved 50-60% buying my gear over there last year (board/bindings) boots were cheap also...kicking myself for not picking up the ions that were £90

May not be season 05/06 though, as if that matters!

Any GEN on bringing snowboards back on the plane, do you have to pay for extra lougage on the way back before being out there, or can you just pay for it at the airport on the way back?

Depends who you are flying with, You usually have to tell them you are taking a board bag, some charge (Brittania did last year) some dont (Bulgaria air)

They frown at very heavy board bags though and may refuse it if its over 30kg

I think cost was £15 per bag
