call to arms

Hi all,

Every year on this forum people ask what the weather is going to be like at Xmas, New-year, January, February, March and even April in which last year the almighty Benson and Hornster answered the majority with their predictions and sometimes with a lot of debate, this year will almost be the same hopefully, PP makes his own predictions i.e. if he will be in any of the resorts whatever the country their will be major amounts of snow.

I just go with the hope that it will snow ...

I just go with the hope that it will snow big time, but I also listen to what people have to say about the coming winter and this year has already started with more bizarre facts, I was only told a few days ago that we are in for a really bad winter my reply to this was how do you know, the answer I got was my “horse told me” now I know that a lot of you may think what a load of crap but it is very true, so I would like to challenge everyone that posts on this forum to share their most true full, bizarre prediction that have been told, a prize will be given to the best of all. ( I am sure some of the site admin will donate)

re: call to arms

my friend says its going to be a bad winter as her horses have gained a thick layer of hair never happened last year.

the old ways are usually the best, I run alot and when I have been out and seen cows laying down sure as to be it rains, although this year the poor things must have forgotten how to stand on them Razz

re: call to arms

I reckon that this winter will be seasonally average insofar as it will be colder than last winter and with seasonal precipitation levels. Basically, I believe that this winter will be back to your typical winter snowfall and rainfall levels which is by no means a bad thing - think back to winter 2005!! I was in Bansko and what a powder hopping time I had. In fact, it didn't seem to stop snowing.

Appease the Snow God and your wish will come true. Very Happy

Here's to a good ski season Booze

re: call to arms

Saw on GMTV this morning that the Meteorogical Office are predicting a very mild winter.

No further proof required then that this year will be arcticly cold and white!
