Having just come back from Bansko i must say i was gutted that due to the changes in Ulen taking over all the privately owned snack bars at Shili, my kebabs (gyros) that i have been looking forward to all year have disappeared from sale. apparently still available in town but not much use when your half way up the mountain. on the plus side, loved the little mehana like place half way down the ski road...lovely bbq meat balls and beer and a fantastic price...the place is definately catching ...

It is very sad, gyros and a beer first thing in the morning was the kickstart for the day. The Pesherite on the ski road is a restbite, Wen spoke with the guys at the Shilligarnika hotel behind the restaurants, who have a takeaway van outside by the way, a night at the hotel ? 45lv inc breakfast, gotta be good

takeaway van?? never saw that!!!!do they do Gyros. if not, why not...they would have a queue longer than the one to get on the gondola and make a mint!
