re: can anyone confirm

How long were you there for?

I think you can not spend more than 30 days there in any 6 month period. I may be wrong though.

re: can anyone confirm

this is the law, but bulgarian customers usually don't check this kind of details, especially for travellers. So don't worry ! Very Happy

re: can anyone confirm

So Chris have you just missed out on a hloiday?

Did the UK authorities not let you travel or have I misunderstood you?

Hope this wasn't the case

re: can anyone confirm

and yes we did miss out,but the worst thing is is that my wife is bulgarian,we have the same name on our passports and still wouldn't let us travel,it was christmas eve and all family were waiting for us,its my wife i feel for she was gutted, the only thing that could have made it worse for us is if there was a big dump of snow but there hasn't been(my inlaws live only 1 hour from pamps).so this week i have to drive to london about 4 hours from swanaea, get my visa and return to see the inlaws ...

Hi Chris
sorry to hear about you're situation, but you've got me worried now mate. I fly out with my family to pamps on sunday for a week ( hopefully to find lots of snow). But i'm also booked to go to Bansko in Febuary with a load of mates, again for a week. Do you think I'll hit the same problem? Has this happend to anybody else that you know of.

cheers

johnny

re: can anyone confirm

Hi Chris

This seems very strange. I too visited Bulgaria in september and have just got back from a week in borovets. I was concerned that I may not be able to travel again in bulgaria (ie in decvember) but was told by the embassy that you can travel upto 30 days every 6 months (with a british passport).

Unlucky

Sam
