Hi all i arrive on 3rd march booked and paid for apartment in boro but with weather being so bad inn resort (lack of powder) im looking at going else were ! bansko or pamps pref bansko with it having more runs/piste and also less travel time from airport, any advise on resort is it similar to borovets as were you can ski into bars and many things all inn close proximity ie hotels bars also what is the apri ski like,also any body give any info on best bars/restraunts.are the prices of lift ...

Nope, not like Boro at all 
Bars that are in close proximity are generally expensive... Happy End is opposite gondola, on happy hour, 3lv a pint, but happy hour ends 16.30... Good bet is the 'cave bar' on the ski road, local prices, local food... most of the other bars on the mountain are 7lv a pint, expensive (by BG standards) food... The town however has some cheaper places, the 'log house' is great value, some mehanas lower in the old town are great value as well. Bars for atmosphere, ...

Thanks steve c, how much is the transfere from sofia per person ? also what area is best for apartment/hotel,also can you advise a place to stay ? as sounds like we need to be near gondela is that on the ski road,also do you have an idea of the coverege on the slopes?? bulgaria weather normally picks up end of feb early march.re:can i have some newz on bansko or pamps
Transfer costs normally based on number of passengers... 1-3, 75E 3-6, 95E 7-8 115E... that is eachway... you will find slightly cheaper, but beware
Most accommodation is within walking distance of gondola, and if not will have courtesy bus. At the moment all runs open, but coverage is shallow, it is being topped up every night by snow cannons... Resort now slightly quieter after Bulgarian childrens holiday, but Romanians will be here till the weekend. 3rd march will be no issue ...
