can i wear my glasses at the same time as goggles?????

Does anyone have the same problem?

i wear glasses and i bought a pair of goggles for skiing next week and they dont fit over my glasses.
Well they kinda do, but you can see them thru the goggles and it just looks so stupid and its uncomfy too.

how do other people deal with it?

by the way, pescription sunglasses are impossible cos im goin skiin in 6 days and wont have the time/money for them

Hi laura
Yes, there are goggles designed to fit over glasses is the answer, check manafacturers websites like Cebe, Smith etc. In fact your local ski shop should be able to help

Hi Laura, I wear glasses all the time a home, but when I ski I dont.
I use normal high uv sunglasses all the time unless its snowing then I use goggles.
If you can see about 20m infront of you, you should be ok

Yes, there are googles that go over glasses I have a pair. Most makes do them now.

Here is a thought for you tho. You may want to make sure your glasses don't have sharpe edges and safety lenses as I know I landed on my face last week so hard my googles came to bits ( I mean hard!!!!) If I had had my standard glasses on under them (did't actually have any glasses on luckily) it would have been very nasty. Sad

But it was a freek accident so odds are you should be OK.

have you skied b4 if you have do the same as the last time you can grt specs made within the hour and you can also get ski gogs. with inserts for specs

The type of goggles you want are called OTG - (Over the Glasses..I guess)
I got a pair of Cebe double lens ones (possibly fake, but I couldn't tell the difference) from a guy outside the ski depot in Pamporovo last year for about £15, and they are excellent.

Ps. Don't wear them on your head when your not using them...the goggles will steam up and they're a bitch to wipe when your balanced on Skis...

Can't you get some contact lenses? Try an opticians as they sometimes do deals for people wishing to tryu contacts giving you a free supply!!

I wear glasses normally but contacts on the slopesSmile

I have a pair of goggles that are designed to fit over your glasses and they work fine. Problem is I got them online and cant remember the name of the site for you Confused
