car hire in pamps?

Has anybody ever hired a car whilst in pamps? we go next week and might give it a go if pos.

Pamporovo is a fairly compact resort, and there's a plentiful supply of taxis...... keep a close eye on the meter/extras etc. I've been there a few times and have had no hassle getting about. If memory serves correctly car-hire is available from Plovdiv airport but the drive to the resort would be pretty funky!
