car rental Sofia to Boro ???

Is it easy + safe driving to Borovets from Sofia ? I've been told Vitosha's closed next week so i gotta come to Boro for some ski. Thanks

Safe and Easy???? That depends have you driven on the other side of the road before, have you driven on ice/snow? The roads here are not always in top conditions, and alot of sign (If you can find them) are in cyrillic. However, saying that if you take it nice and steady you will be fine.

Why not tell him all: You have not driven in Bulgaria. You will find some of the most dangerous drivers there. You will see things you have only seen in movies. But if you just drive carefully, they will manouvre quickly around your, no problem usually. Ah, and don't argue with them. And finally, the bigger car you rent, the more respect you will get from them.

Oh I have driven here, but choose not to. It's much better to be chauffuered about.
