caution in borovets with skis dissapearing

Just got back from a wonderfull weeks skiing in borrovets ,just one cautionary note.KEEEP AN EYE ON YOUR SKIShas just cost me 560 levs prox 200 pounds to replace a pair taken from the hillside it is your responsibility to look after the equipment. Also the money had to be paid in cash ( hotel wouldn't take a card). Have it on good authority this happens regularly. Still had a fabulous week. ski instructors were fantastic.

Yes Ken, and re my earlier post. Sorry about your loss. Seems that Borovets may have a "problem" as well.

Has anyone managed to claim succesfully on their holiday insurance for stolen ski equipment ?

ken sorry for your loss but mate if you are not looking after the equipment you borrowed then there is only going to be one outcome no matter where you are in the world.
p.s only if you took note of your own advice to others.
