well just got back from that land of vodka, and SUN SUN SUN, borovets is really quite different without the snow. Work is already going on re new runs etc, the place is starting to look like a building site. Dont think there will be new runs this year, the work involved is massive, however visitors this coming season (sounds good that doesnt it ) will notice a rather large apartment block has been built next to the 'Flora' hotel, it was apparently going to be an extension to the hotel, but its Bulgaria and things have a habit of changing .
The Chalet, as with any renovation is looking totaly c**p the inside have now been stripped out, the chimney in the middle of the floor however has thwarted the deeds of man and beast!!! its doing a better job than the world trade centre(ouch) whoever built the damn thing was not a regular visitor to B&Q!!! The upstairs has also been gutted, ha ha ha never have i seen building like this, usually you prepare your timber, not just cut the tree down and stick it in the roof bark and all . So after a first visit we retired to the Samakov hotel to settle my nerves with a guiness or two...........damn blast..... only during the skiing season, oh well vodka coke then..... after a few of these, from the very smiley friendly bar staff.......went back to the chalet and had a more settled look......oh well at least its still got four walls......oy wheres that window gone...ah we had to take that out to remove some of the upstairs rubbish, the stuff that we couldnt get down the stairs.......well how did it get up there, no dont answer that. Anyway no bodys or anything else illegal turned up so thats a godsend. Builders were met with discussions were had, (more vodka coke) liverpol were cheered on to a victory they well deserved (more vodka coke), so how much my new best friend ? ah problem.....its not so much the price its the materials..... there really is a serious shortage in teh whole of BG at the moment due to all these foriegners coming over and buying all these new properties.........how do you spell make love elsewhere again!!!!!!!! anyway its all moving along, episode 4 in about 6weeks time after weve been out again for the furnishings ps. dont want to put anyone off...but me i wouldnt go to sunny beach this year........there is one hell of a lot of work going on everywhere, if youre going seriously check with your travel agent, or just have loads of vodka coke, honestly it solves everything
